Purpose of this meetup

This meetup aims to provide opotunities to speak non-native language (English/Japanese), especially for ones who haven't studied these languages after graduation and isn't good at.

In addition, this meetup also aims to be a communiy that look for a way to enjoy speaking English and Japanese.

It is a very casual meet-up. It doesn’t matter what level you are, we use both English and Japanese, so you don't have to be perfect. The most important thing is to practice!

We haven't decided detailed feature plans, so we'll make up this meetup all together.

PLEASE take it easy to attend here.

In this meetup, we have been proceeded with some IT topics. But this time, we will play analog game like board game to communicate by non-native language.

Schedule

14:00 - 14:30 Self Introduction

Introduce yourself in your non-native language (Japanese->English/English->Japanese)
If you need a presentation slide for your self introduction, please make it in advance.

14:30 - 16:00 Group Work

Make a group with 4/5 people and play some board/card games listed below.

16:00 - 17:00 Playng "[Werewolf](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(party_game)"

17:00 - 18:00 Closing and Preparation for Pizza


18:00 - 20:00 Pizza&Game Party(Free Talk)

  • Entrance fee for this after-party is about 1000yen for beer and food (pizza).
  • Let's "KPT:Keep, Problem, Try" in your non-native language with Beer and Pizza!
  • There will be Lightning talks in your non-native language (English/Japanese) during this time (speakers wanted!) A projector is available :)
  • In the latter half, You can play video games using projector (Big screen!!).
